Any business that has workers receiving hazardous materials, packaging hazardous materials or transporting hazardous chemicals such as: gasoline, fuels, or other toxic chemicals to work sites for use by their workers. Workers must receive training every 3 years on DOT Hazardous Materials Shipping Regulations. Come learn about how to properly prepare, package, label, segregate and ship your hazardous materials to safeguard workers, the environment, and your bottom line. |

The course instruction is free and covered by a grant from PHMSA, however there is a facility use and registration fee of $75 per person to attend. We will waive the fee in certain instances for workers that are underemployed or unemployed. These classes are approved for NV CEM continuing education credit! DOT HAZMAT shipper class value $995!

in accordance with 49 CFR § 172.704
Class Size is limited to 20 students.

This workshop is offered with U.S. DOT PHMSA HMIT grant support to the National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (National PETE). Per the grant, government employees ARE eligible to participate in this program.
Upon completion you will be issued 0.8 CEUs and receive a certificate of completion. This training has been approved for Nevada Certified Environmental manager annual training CEU’s.

This course educates workers on the basic knowledge of DOT Hazardous Materials Shipping Regulations. There are no prerequisites but to be better prepared for the workshop, it is strongly recommended that participants complete the DOT HAZMAT review training online at the Pipeline for Hazardous Materials Safety Administration: www.phmsa.dot.gov/training/hazmat/training-modules
